"I think it's a really nice thing to meet the fans," Johnson said. "It's a good thing for us to show our faces."

Along with the players, two cheerleaders named Larissa and Lauren joined them at the fairgrounds.

"This is my second year on the squad," Larissa said. "I am thankful to be a part of this again to see the fans and how they support the Colts, the long lines and how the people want to see us."

Also joining the Colts was the self-professed "Superfan." Michael Hopson received about as much attention as the members of the Colts team. He was not easily missed wearing a montage of Colts paraphernalia.

"I've gone wilder and wilder each year," Hopson said. "I meet a lot of people and I see some of the same people who come up to me at these same functions."

Besides meeting the Colts, the fans also had the chance to register their children for the Colts Kids Club and Colts Crib Club as well register-to-win Colts pre-season tickets. The Indiana Blood Center also was accepting blood donations for the "Bleed Blue Blood Drive."

The younger fans also could play on the Colts inflatables and fans of all ages could walk through "Colts in Motion," the team's traveling museum.

This year marked the sixth year the team has traveled the state in its "Make it Personal" tour.
