For those who want to learn a computer program and are not sure if they could afford to take classes, there is a training program available in Kokomo that is focused to those who are unemployed or underemployed.
ExecuTrain of Nothern Indiana is now offering certification training programs at the UAW/Chrysler Kokomo Training Center at 1315 Hoffer St. Interested individuals or companies can attend the ExecuTrain open house at the UAW/Chrysler Kokomo Training Center on Thursday July 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or call 1-866-257-0316 for more information.
"We are finding that many unemployed workers have family obligations or financial responsibilities that prevent them from pursuing a traditional degreed training program," he said. "Our training is for those customers."
The classes are held Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and they will be offering courses directly to businesses as well. The cost of training varies on the course.
